FRAUD PREVENTION ADDED TO YOUR VISA DEBIT CARD

Waterfront Federal Credit Union (WFCU) is proud to announce the addition of the FALCON fraud monitoring system to your VISA Debit/Check Card.  WFCU has been participating with the FALCON program for many years with our VISA Credit Card program and it has prevented many fraud transactions.  Your VISA Debit Card now has that additional layer of protection for your checking and savings accounts.  We know everyone is concerned about preventing fraud and the damage it can cause to one’s financial position, WFCU is doing its part to help protect your financial livelihood.

The FALCON program reviews each member debit transaction comparing it with your ordinary spending habits and against known fraud activities.  If a transaction alerts the FALCON fraud prevention system, you will be contacted by FALCON from 9am to 9pm/7days a week.  They will identify themselves as “VISA Fraud Prevention Services” and will ask you questions about the transaction(s) in question.  If you are not home, they will leave the phone number 800-624-7216 on your message service and wait for you to call back.  Please return their phone call anytime 24 hours a day/7 days a week and review the transactions that they will have questions on.
